The Visionary Art Collective is a collective of creative artists dedicated to the pursuit of the arts in Woodstock.
THE VAC MISSION: The Visionary Art Collective cultivates visionary art by providing a forum for artists to discuss, produce and exhibit new work and develop artistic expression that moves and reshapes established boundaries. THE VAC VISION: The Collective strives to develop, secure and honor the role of the artist within the community. Artists engage and enlighten each other by provoking thought and forging new connections through the presentation of new ideas, new concepts and new forms of art. The collective embraces all forms of art including film, video and digital work. |

The Visionary Art Collective is made up of artists from all levels and is open to everyone
including international artists.
The collective occupies a 2500 square foot space and includes
a private outdoor courtyard, multiple studios for classes and workshops, and exhibition space.
New shows open every Second Saturday of the month and membership includes the display of 3 works in each show - depending upon size. Events include parties, workshops, artist salons, and networking occasions.
Exhibiting membership for 2010 is $35 a month payable in full or in installments.
Woodstock residency is not required and international members are welcome. Artists are well-loved here. |
